What is wrong to liberate abused and unfortunate miserable people from their agony? That is why I say you so-called Eritrians have a twisted mind. You can’t think straight. and that is the result of a long-term abuse by Issayas that turned you in to a “Yes” men political zombies. Unlike Ethiopia, you don’t have a Free Press or a single opposition party. You have no right to question what your tyrant leader tells you to do. You have no freedom to speak your mind. You are too timid to fight for the respect of your basic Human Rights. Do you call this independence? “A society gets a government that it deserves” (as the saying goes) and you have got what you deserve.

You only know one thing, and that is barking on Tigreans. Ethiopia was your motherland that raised you, educated you and gave you all opportunities to prosper. But you choose to bite her feeding hand and you are now paying the price. A typical “Banda” character! You like to belittle the proud Tigrean Ethiopians who have never been colonized by your fascist master Mussolini. But just look around! Who is “Gipsy” now? Your people are flocking to Tigray in hundreds every day, begging for food and shelter. I honestly believe that we need to take back your fake “independence” for a while and install democratic governance in that former province. That will bring a lasting peace and you will be grateful to us. You dont have to worry about your "independence". We will give it back to you as we can take it back any time we want!

Do you think Weyane felt sorry for Shaebia during its successive invasions to let itself short of capturing Asmara? You Ethiopians really need brain upgrading.

It was true Weyane was able to capture Barentu after paying heavy causalities. And encouraged by that it attempted to push towards Asmara, but it was crushed like never before in Adi Quila (Adi Begio), in the vicinity of Senafe where the Korean trained commando (mostly Tigreans) was exterminated, in the Assab front that broke his backbone, near Mendefera (Meraguz) and of course in the Shaebia counter offensive of Teseney. These combined losses were the very reasons that forced MELES to abandon his military campaign and decide to fool you all by saying the offensive would be over in 24 hours. Meles would love to finish Eritrea in few weeks time if he had the capability to do so. But, he was quick to realize that the situation was turning against him.

Many accuse him falsely for terminating the offensive prematurely. But the fact remains that these people are unable to swallow the bitter pill and deny themselves and other genuine people from knowing the real reason behind the Weyane’s failure to achieve its goal. As soon as the offensive was over in June 2000, you were told 60% of the Eritrean Army was put out of action, yet a month hardly passed when Meles demanded assurance from the International community, and of course from Eritrea too, that he would not be attacked by Eritrea if he were going to pull his troops out of sovereign Eritrean territory. This was so funny. WHERE IS THE LOGIC GUYS? If we assume Eritrea had 300,000 troops, the 60% who were said to be out of action would be 180,000 and the remaining active army would be 120,000. Then the question would be if Meles was so successful to annihilate 180,000 troops, how on earth he would be scared of 120,000 troops??? Even the 120,000 remaining (that was his hope) - wouldn’t be in the front line, maybe only 60,000 would be there. IF you had bought this trashy propaganda you really need to wake up. Weyane commanders need to take basic Mathematics courses.

Another point is - have you ever wondered how many soldiers you have lost? Why is Weyane so shy to reveal that figure? We all know for fact that most of the dead soldiers were Oromo peasants. Could this be the reason for your indifference to know the truth? Believe it or not, the conservative figure of your loss is 123,000.

Meles was so proud to capture some parts of Eritrea even if his loss means so shocking by any standard. After all, his second goal was to destroy Oromo and Amhara soldiers lest they join OLF or other organization that would threaten his power. He was trying to kill two birds with a stone although he failed miserably in his first target, annihilating Eritrea.

We Ethiopians don't take the empty hot-air Eritrian bravado seriously. Pompus behaviour is your identity. Weren't you making the same noise in the last war? You said "breakfast Adigrat dinner Mekele". What happened at last? You begged for mercy. Peace comes only when you giveup your wild claim on Ethiopian teritoriers like Badme and Irob, and our country's rightfull access to the sea is respected. You can not dream of a lasting peace while 70 million people are shut off from the Sea.

Gemoraw(it can be economic, social, cultural, historic or prehistoric issue)......most ethiopians know more about eritria than most eritians do......

 Two years is not enough! But for sure if we could make for ten, then after that we will be the very beloved one to them as they do love to the Italians so much. They are a kind of people which donot feel shamed to ruled  or they  may admire one when they are kiked by and contray they don't give back respect when one packed to them so.
