Tigreans - The more parctice you do, the sooner your accent changes. So, you need to do a lot on that front.
I had two Tigrean friends here in London. But, they never ever spoke Tigrigna. They would rather hang themselves up rather than speaking Tigrigna. They used to speak Amharic and English. The reason is so obvious - lack of self-esteem,lack of self-confidence etc...
Any foreigner in London is so proud to speak his/her language with his/her fellow countrymen or with someone who speaks his/her language. But, I hardly understand why Tigreans are so shy to speak Tigrigna with Eritreans.
You guys, be proud of your identity, culture and language. The more parctice you do, the sooner your accent changes. Mark my words ...THE MORE PRACTICE YOU DO THE SOONER YOUR ACCENT CHANGES.
