I cant imagine that we were born amidth the heavy fighting for independence of Tigray during the Derg regime. We were raised up as Tigreans who have been denied our freedom. And now all in a sudden we can not be Ethiopians. How could we be the same people as those who bombed and murdered us? How could we feel Ethiopians while we are not?

The struggle continues.

I appriciate your concern of Tigrians. However, you need to understand that Amhars were not our enemies or enemies of Tigrians and they will not be, like the rest of other Ethiopians with the exeption of few ignorant racists but educated Amhara . Amharans had been also supressed by the Ethiopian leaders for years. The difference was in their feeling that the leadrs in the past 100 or more years were Amhara and working for Amahar. But the reality was the majority of Amhara was as poor as other Ethiopians including Tigrians. If some body knows how the Amhara people live, he will understand the reality otherwise all is fake.

I doubt that you are Tigreans or you could be brainwashed by the Shaebian tail, TPLF. If you grow up during the Shaebia + TPLF era, then you don't know Ethiopia. Shaebia through Meles and his cliques worked hard so that Tigreans will separate themselves from Ethiopians, you are the product of this scam. You need to read Tigray's History otherwise you will be lost as the Shaebians are. All Tigrean heroes along other non-Tigrean Ethiopians died for Ethiopia fighting the Italians, Turks, Ottomans, Egyptians and other enemies. The bottom line is you can be of a Tigrean origin, but your citizen is and will be ETHIOPIAN. If you don't believe me you can read history books that are written by Ethiopian or/and foreigners. I agree with "wedi Tigray" the non-Tigrean Ethiopians are NOT our enemies and never have been. Of course there are some few bad apples in any Race, but they don't represent the whole population. For Example during Derge there were Tigrean cadres who kill Tigreans and TPLF killed more than the Derge killed in Tigray. I can add something, look at Eritrea they got their independence but they are not free. The way out is to be united and fight together for democratic right for everyone. Look at the United States, all kind of people with different languages, color, history, and cultures live here, but everyone is treated equally (at least compare to other countries). If you can work and live with Orientals, Whites, Mexicans then what is your problem to live and work with our brothers the Amhara, Oromo, Gurages, Gmabelas, Konssos, Kembatas, Somalies, Aderes etc?

So why bother Ethiopia the land of the Black Jews and Christians? Most of your leaders in power now were trained and financed by terrorist countries like Syria Even now on your government’s official website your emblem is camel flanked by Arabic As you are now openly telling us, your long-term objective is to break-up Ethiopia in to 2 or 3 small states. You will all die with your evil dream. We know who gave you this evil agenda. You are still financed by terrorist Arab states and you want to weaken the only long time traditional and trusted ally of the USA and the West in East Africa-Christian and Jewish Ethiopia. Also remember what President George W. Bush said 2 years ago: “The US will not tolerate any attack on Ethiopia!” Understand why? You may not understand it now! Tigray and Amhara are like the two faces of the same coin, i.e.,they are one and the same.Amharic was originally the Dialect Of Tigrigna spoken in the Ancient provinice of Tigray called ,Angote.Today ,most of Angote ,is part of what we call Suothern Tigray.Amharas are descendants of Geeze speaking Axumites and Agaws,who ,ultimately , settled In South Western Wollo ,and slowly aquired the language of the Angotes to the north east, and the language of the Argobas(an ancient Tigrigna dialect,too)to the South east.Tigreans themselves have lots of Agaw ,Afar,Saho,Oromo,and Kunama blood.So do the Amharas;for that matter even more.AMHARAS AND TIGRAEANS LIVEDTOGETHER FOR AS LONG AS ALL THE HISTORY OF ETHIOPIA.No one can seperate these two people,even if oyhers break up.I am a100% AXum/Temben in origin and i fill very proud to have to share Ethiopa ,Primarily with Amharas.
