An election is to elect between people. In Tigray there isn't such thing the only choice is TPLF.

In short there is no election in Tigray, there is appointing some members of TPLF to office. That is it. Meles said he is sure that he will win the election is because he put in place as usual, all the mechanisms not to let anyone elected. He is good at Intimidation, killing, and arresting candidates, so that they miss the Election Day. He is confident in his killing, arresting, intimidating, period. I am sure he isn't confidant enough if the Ethiopian people are free to elect their government he would have been out long time ago. He believes in bullet not ballot. The fake election is just to get international aid.
