I had two Tigrean friends here in London.But, they never ever spoke Tigrigna.
The would rather hang themselves up rather than speaking Tigrigna. They used to speak in Amharic or English.The reason is so obvious - lack of self-esteem,lack of self-confidence etc...

Any foreigner in London is so proud to speak his/her language with his/her fellow countryman or with someone who speaks his/her language.But, I hardly understand why Tigreans are so shy to speak Tigrigna with Eritreans.

You guys, be proud of your identity,culture and language. The more parctice you do, the sooner your accent changes.

The first time you were treated like a humanbeing was after you joined your mother land Ethiopia. During the time you were with us you were given every opportunity to prosper. Transport (all big buses and trucks) Hotels, Big Garages and many other facilities. This was true where ever you go in the country, including, AGARO-JIMMA, GIMBI and ARJOBEDELE where I grew up. Even governemnt jobs in communication and Eth. Airlines and adminstration were yours. You were treated equally like any other Ethiopian. But you choose to bite the hand that feed you. That is why we Ethiopians now call you "Kehadi Bandas!".

Don't worry about we southerners. We know where we belong and we are Ethiopians. We are not "kehadi Bandas" like you. From time memorial we fought for the exsistence of Ethiopia against colonialists, and no one liberated us from no one. We are part of our country's History, not bystanders. There is no Ethiopia without the oromo people and we are emperors and governers of Ethiopia. By the way, do you know Emperor Haileselassie was half Oromo? You guys are trying to divide Ethiopians on ethnic lines. It will not work. You have seen it in the last war and you will see it in the future. But you are stupid, you are trying again. We take pride from a shining non-colonized country History while you take pride from eating pasta!
