US Official: Border ruling final & binding, no precondition

Excerpt from report by Eritrean radio on 7 December


Asmara, Eritrea, Dec 07, 2004 -President Isayas Afewerki today met and held talks with a US delegation led by Mr Donald Yamamoto, deputy assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs.


During the meeting, Mr Yamamoto said that the US government remains firm on its last January statement on the Eritrea-Ethiopia border dispute, which stated the boundary commission's ruling as final and binding and that it should be implemented without any preconditions.


Mr Yamamoto told President Isayas the US government's desire and readiness to further strengthen the existing relations with Eritrea.

President Isayas on his part said that the international community as the guarantors of the Algiers peace agreement and has a legal obligation in overseeing the implementation of the agreements, and urged the US government to give a clear message to the weyane [Ethiopian] government to honour and implement the agreement and the boundary commission's ruling immediately.

Don't worry! The " timid" Meles (as your boss Issayas calles him) is already begging his master Issayas kneeling down under his shoes(calling him my brother-yestyerday in Nirobi) and he will to do every thing for Eritrea. You don't need a third party the US.

 The Bandas will ultimately be lulled bythe US gov into believing  that they can defy the cunning Meles.Americans are smart.....they know Ethiopians are angry from coast to coast and short of another swift and decisive war ,Ethiopia wouldn`t get what it rightly deserves.They knew Meles was playing the right game and now they are doing their part.I wonder how ,even Americans, know the Hassas Libi of the Deki-Elitus.


          At the END of the swift war:Ethiopia gets it`s RIghtfully hereditary territories on the west till MaiTeb,on the central front  towns like Tsorona,Forto,Menekussito,etc,and,on the east ,Ethiopa will permanently unite our Afar brothers,not just Assab(Azeb=south)


          GOD BLESS ETHIOPIA!!  CURSED BE THE LAND OF DEKI-ELITUS.
