Selamawit I never like the way 'Lema' or 'Tigray' are calling each other but still there are we Tigreans that dont feel that we are Ethiopians who realy want a free and seperate Tigray. Nevertheless though I respect your opinion that you are proud Ethiopian, dont include us all Tigreans in one basket.

If realy you mean it that you are not included with what Selamawit seat it, then you better join Shaebia. You may have bad feelings about other tribes in Ethiopia which could be binded by your level of concience and your direction of view or way of looking to things. But get to know also that is yours only not every bodys image.

Yes, you may have a negative feelings for the previous authorities of Ethiopia just for the reason that they were applaying a very bad policy to wards Tigray and were attacking Tegarus especially elits whom seemed to them could cause rivailary treat to their power, but this was not the fault of the people of that or this community or to the least no one was out of the misery and malpractices which were been launching from the authorities and restover on the shoulder of all tribes ordinary people of a time so that couldn't justify or is not the logical fact and cause for your claim. And you shouldn't derive to others too on that course unless you are sanne as our brothers Shaebia feleg followrs.

Look our country today. The rulling group of the existing gov't of Ethiopia is said Tegaru or TPLF or the your friends like PM Legesse is doing one fault one morning, and are bringing down the nation to it's end circle. We all know this group have been involved in an open crimes in Tigray and the same everywhere in the country. Do you mean, we all Tegaru should be blamed for all those idiots act which has happen since they came to power though we paid the heaviest cost in seek of change? It has similarity !!

Firs thank you for your polite reply (unlike many others who have ugly approach). But to be more precise to your answer I do rely recognize all the crimes done including by TPLF in Tigray and in Ethiopia. What I see is the historical aspect of our existence. During Hailesellasie we now how Tigrians were treated we were like animals, the history of original "weyane peasants" tesfy all this. In fact we were not allowed to immigrate to Addis Abeba but to Eritrea. And to the knowlage of every body Eritreans in Addis were treated more better than Tigrians (infact until these days some people in Addis jock when Eritreans were deported " the bee went home and the fly came in"...) And Derge continued with the same manner. We were forced to start the fight and the fight was for independence or federation. In fact after Hinfishfish it was Aregawi Berhe and Ghidey Zeratsion that preached an Independent Eritrea and Free Tigray, Meles wanted a controlled Eritrea, but yet he supported Free Tigray. All this twisted history now will work because in the TPLF and EPLF 1979 meeting document their main disagreement was that shabia never accepted Free Tigray, they always said you question is ethnical opression as they said to us. But TPLF continued the fight for independent Tigray. Our brothers died for independent Tigray. We had and have nothing incommon with other Ethiopians (nothing wrong with them) but that is how I see it. Had we had incommon we would never hear the ever reapeting words like "Ethiopians, particularly Tigreans"..."victory to Ethiopia specially to Tigreans" all this Tigray and Ethiopia exactly as a seperate state. In fact our constitution was writen long ago with the right of self-determination no Tigrean until today is opposing it. Why ? because we want free Tigray. Most Tigreans are nationalists there is nothing to hide, we are proud of what we have achieved, everyone knows it. And we who never change our position will continue to stay firm for independent Tigray, with full respect for those who want Tigray as Ethiopia!

The only Question The Medre Wossenaits Should ask themselves is this;"Had God been mercifull,somehow,and reversed the role they had to play and the military strength of Shaebia and the weyane ,all in favor of shaebia,Would the proud Amharas and Tigrayans allow Sheabia to liberate them from Dergue?" the answer is an affimative no.They will not allowThe Shaebia to even cross more than a few miles.Amharas embrace Weyane or any other Tigrayan,in the past present and future.Amhara and Tigray Will never trust a Banda-Wossenait. Don`t bull**** yourself into thinking that Amharas trusted or respected you more than or equal to a Tigrayan.That will happen only as a street joke by some toddlers in Addis Who are most likely UnAmharas. I agree with you completely when you say Amharas and Tigreans are brothers.Infact these people were one before the Amharic dialect took a foothold south of Tigray, a few centuries ago.Don`t forget also that Eritreans were, only a hundred years ago,proud Tigreans.Forget this border war.Even people in the same country,province,Awraja,Woreda,village,neighborhood or family members do,at times, fight some of the most savage wars.Ultimately, they achieve peace and even stonger ties.We will do that!!!!.

Let me remind you one thing!.Was Zerai Deress a banda?Was`nt he a Hamassen who deffended Habesha?How can all Hamassen be cursed as Banda land,Medre-Wossen ,Etc.You are insulting your self for the Hamassen,like me ,is the closest relative you have in this planet.
