Meles is a very proud Tigayan-Ethiopan.He was born in Adua from avery proud Tigrayan family.From early on ,Meles was a distinguished debator.His academic achievements are a legend  in Adua Elementary and junior schools ,to this day.After finishing 8th grade, Meles joined The General Wingate school .Save for the late Abraha Abera, of Mekele origin,no one was close to Meles in his academic achievement, be it in the General Wingate Senior and comprehensive high school ,or the Black Lion Medical school. Mind you ,Meles was salaried by the Emperor,as a very rare reward for the highiest achievers,while he was a medical student.

Here,I am not trying to write meles` autobiography or to brainwash you into believing that he is so gifted and thus,naturally infallible.I will never do that to you ,what I will never do to myself.I my self know these and much, much more virtuosities of this brilliant man,however,I do not agree with him on many tactical issues and ,lately, even Some strategic issues.

         I have respect for Meles,afterall,he is the first democratically elected PM of Ethiopia.We can say, Meles is the 1st in Ethiopia in  about another one hundred good things,and the list will grow since he is still a very young man.

However ,I have always some issues With Meles.Most of the time,but not exclusively, the issues revolved around the disposition of the so called Eritrean question,which,infact ,now has become so sureal and grotesque,I am left angry and numb. 

 But,to my knowledge, I have never suspected Meles of being a covert ertra Agent trying to undermine Tigray-Shewa/Ethiopia.Why will one suspect Meles for being a shaebia trojan horse unless one has no clue of the roots of Meles or is gullible enough to believe the water cooler rumors?. To those of us who,forexample, know the roots of Meles` mom,the luxury of easily uncovering Meles` motive was null and void ,unless we were prepared to decive ourselves.

       As far as I am concerned, the root cause of the disagreement that I have with Meles,stems in the ideology he follows,  not in the ludicrous  accusation of him being an ertan. If meles is ertran,then Abebe Bekila is also ertran or Alula Was ertran, as ertrans infact, claimed every famed Tigay/Ethiopian as theirs.What ertrans never like is a poor Tigrayan farmer,one like the 80%of their population.

  Don`t get me wrong ,I am a leftist myself. Meles is also, generally, leftist.However, on the Eritrean question he is,at times , too radical (pre-separation )and, at times ,righ- leaning (after separation). The post border war debacle is the pinnacle of my destaste to Meles` ertran policy.The recent overtures,though  understood as pre-emptive  diplomacy,didn`t make me comfortable,either

                       In conclusion:

 Just like what I do,it`s better if we accuse Meles for what he is,and  not for what he is not.Then and only then, will the chorus of the opposition,form into an audible noise, to be caught by Meles`big ears.
